Great to keep our little bee warm
We tried a few wearable blankets, but the beekeeper is by far our favorite. It's easy to put on without waking baby. I appreciate its organic cotton with a reasonable price point.

Super soft cozy summer sleep sack
Incredibly soft, right from the soft. Love the patterns. We've had two of these so far, and they are a great summer-weight sleep sack.

Disappointed - Poor Stitching
I bought this when it was on sale in March for my son to grow into. (He's been sleeping in one for the last 7 months but hasn't grown a whole lot) Well finally two weeks ago he grew into 18m and I pulled this one out. He's worn it for two weeks and I've washed it twice. The stitching that goes across the material is coming unraveled in multiple spots. Just sitting here rocking my son to sleep I can see 4. I havent even thrown the packaging away yet and stitching is unraveling. I'm extremely disappointed. I tried to process a defective replacement request and it would not allow me to, my guess because it was purchased over 30 days ago. I will attempt to call during business hours to see if they can rectify this. My son and I both loved his first beekeeper and I am so disappointed with the workmanship of this one.

Perfect for cooler temperature
I love it! Perfect for babies who starts to flip and turn. Don’t need to worry about blankets suffocating them while sleeping. The burts bee keeps them warm when the temp is between 68-72 F!

Our favorite sleep sack
Great quality. Super soft and not too think or thin. Has lasted through two babies wearing it almost every night until they outgrew it.

Just Right
Although I'm not a big fan of wearable blankets, I do think that regular blankets work as good as this, having in mind "the risks". I did a good research on which wearable blanket works better for my baby, this one was the one that I liked better, it is not unnecessary long as others, which I like that a lot, it's easy to put and remove, the thickness is just right, and my baby seems to be comfortable.

Will the dasher and dancer print be available in 1.5 Tog?
Hey there and thanks for buzzing by! We will not be offering the dasher and dancer print in the 1.5 tog this year but we will pass this question along to our design team for future development!

Our little one is 6 months, just under 14lbs and 26in long. What size would you recommend? We also live in warmer climate and usually the room is 72-74 at night. What TOG would you recommend?
Hi there, thanks for buzzing by! Based on our size guide, your little bee would currently wear a small, but I would recommend a medium, because she would very soon grow out of the small! Also, I would recommend the .5 TOG in a warmer climate. Hope that helps!

I was handed down a beekeeper. I just wanted to know, how can I tell if it’s .5 TOG or 1.5 TOG? I don’t see a marking on the beekeeper or it’s tag.
Hello there and thanks for buzzing by! See photo attached for prints available in our medium weight 1.5 TOG beekeepers. If you do not see the pattern you have, it is the .5 TOG. Also, if your beekeeper has quilting stitches and has a puffy feel to it, then it is our medium weight 1.5 TOG beekeeper. Hope this helps! If you have any more questions please feel free to give our friendly customer service a call at 855-540-2229 or email them at info@burtsbeesbaby.com Lots of love, the BBB Hive.

Hello. When I add the BeeKeeper Wearable Blanket Size Small to my checkout box, $22.95 appears as the price rather than the $13.77 as advertised. Is there a code to put in? It is the BeeKeeper with the large sized ABC's pattern. Thank you.
Hi there, thanks for buzzing by! During our flash sale this past weekend, the discounted price would appear when you checkout, hope that helps!

Hi, I wanted to buy one for my friends daughter.I do not like in USA, so its difficult for me to check certain details. Do you have tog certificates on these. Can I pls see your full labelling. Thnks
Hey there, thanks for buzzing by! We do not have TOG certificates because TOG is not regulated in the US. But we did do a lot of testing to achieve the TOG we have for our Beekeepers! Our lighter-weight Beekeeper is .5 TOG and our warmer Beekeeper is 1.5 TOG. Hope that helps!

For the 1.5 tog sleep bags, how should I dress baby? Room temp is between 69-72 Fahrenheit.
Hi there, thanks for buzzing by! We recommend wearing just pajamas under the 1.5 tog Beekeeper when the room temp is 69-72F. You could also put a bodysuit on under the pajamas if you'd like.

If you're not going to make larger sleep sacks soon, do you have a blanket that would feel very similar? I'm not sure how we will transition my daughter out of her sleep sacks once she outgrows the biggest size!
Hi Natw,
Correct at this point in time we are not making larger beekeepers. We will pass along your feedback to our product design team for their consideration for future development.
The weight is very similar to our Set of 2 Bee Essentials 1 Ply Blankets, item # LY10184.

Hi jdear,
They are NOT! Our Beekeepers are 100% Organic Cotton and we don’t use harsh flame retardant chemicals so you can keep your little bee snug as a bug to keep them safe as can bee. We hope this helps! Lots of love, the BBB Hive

I was going to ask the same question as another parent. Our son is a big boy...he is only 12 months old but he's very tall! We want to order another sleeper for him but it will be too small for him. If you make a size XL, we would love to buy it. Thanks!
Had the same problem! Google footie sleep sacs. The foot openings make it easier on the kids and give them more room for their long legs. I wish BBB made them!

I am buying for a 9 month old who is wearing 1 year size (she's tall with tall parents). How do your sizes (small, medium, and large) fit with this?
Hey Polly,
There are companies that make sleep sacs with foot openings. They are safer and work better for long kids. Their feet can stick out of the bottom! That way if they stand up and walk around the crib, they won't fall. Google sleep sacs with foot openings.

We really love this product and our baby has used it since he transitioned out of newborn swaddles. Is it possible to add an extra-large size for 18-24 month toddlers?? We would love to have the option to stick with this product as our toddler grows.
Hi Vicky! Thanks for buzzing by! We are so happy to hear you love our beekeeper. We will pass along your feedback to our product design team for their reference in future development. Lots of love, the BBB Hive.

My daughter is 15lbs but 27.5 inches. Which size would you recommend?
hi mary,
We would recommend the size medium for your sweet little bee! this will account for the length, so when your little one moves around and stretches there is enough room for leg movement. we hope you love it.

I’m looking for a light weight sleep sack - can you tell me which one to pick?
We use this sleep sack for warmer months precisely because it is lightweight (for winter we use a fleece one). We love this sleep sack!

Hi, my son is right on the line between the medium and the large. He's absolutely, the right weight for the large, he's maybe an inch shine away from the length for the large. Which size would you recommend? Thanks!
Hi Wyatt's mom, thanks for buzzing by! If your little bee is that close to the large according to the size chart, we would suggest that size. The neck opening is not much bigger, but he'll need the length soon enough! Hope that helps! - The BBB Hive

If the TOG is .5, in the winter when house is set at 68 degrees F, is just the sleep sack and a long sleeved footed fleece pj okay?
Hey there, thanks for buzzing by!
Layering our Beekeeper with one of our sleepers is indeed warm enough when the house is at 68 degrees F.
Hope that helps!

Do you recommend following length or weight recommendations? My LO is shorter for his age but heavier for his age, so is two different sizes in the blanket.
I would recommend going with the weight. As the baby kicks and wiggles, the extra length is "liberating", but tight is never good when you are sleeping. My grandson slept in these until he was 24 months old.
Date published: 2019-12-05
Can my daughter wear the small if she’s only 6 lbs 11 ounces?
No, you'd want the newborn size. This can ride up and cover their face if they're so little. Have you tried a sleep sack swaddle, like the Halo brand or others? I liked to swaddle my baby's arms in (down to her sides) when she was new.
