Runs big
I bought two of these loose fit and two snug fit pjs in 3-6 month size for my baby. The snug fit pjs fit him well. The two loose fit pjs are way too big on him and his feet won’t stay in the footies, causing him to get tangled up in them. Some elastic on the heels could possibly help with this. I love the soft fabric they are made of, but the sizing is confusing. These 3-6 month loose fit sleep and plays seems to be a similar size to other popular brands size 9 month sleep and plays. We’ll just save them for when he gets bigger. I thought this might be helpful for others looking to buy pjs to fit their babies right now, as I was.

Soft, comfy, and cute!
I purchased this for my 1 month old in the cloud print, 0-3 months. I have a bunch of the snug fit sleepers, and wanted to try the sleep and play. The fabric is so soft and the print is gorgeous. I love the roomier fit and it's super easy to put on. It does seem to run a little bigger than the snug versions. My only issue is that the lack of foot elastic makes it impossible for our little guy's feet to stay inside. It's just a smidge too long for him, so his foot gets lost in the leg area. Even a loose elastic would help. Otherwise, this is wonderful! I look forward to buying more in the future!

Bummed!
I’ve purchased a bunch of these in different prints... I’m sad to say that my favorite print this apple of my eye print onesie broke after the first wash... my daughter didn’t even get to wear it :( the button fell off... I hope to get a replacement. All the others are fine... I took two stars off cause it’s way oversized compared to other brands in length and the feet are really big! it’s not as soft as most organic clothes I purchase... I would pay more for a better quality item... the quality overall just isn’t great... I love the styles of this brand just wish it was better quality!!!! This still will not stop me from buying more bbb clothing in the future...haha I just love the holiday themed stuff so cute!!!

Really dislike how these fit!!!
Oh goodness!! If you like being the person that constantly adjusts your babies outfit, then these pajamas are for you! The length seems to be great but there is a ton of extra neck fabric causing a shoulder to be exposed, and hands to be lost in the outfit. I’m constantly pulling the fabric down in the arm area so you can see my babies hands. I love the idea of organic cotton but I would never buy these again based on how they fit. (I have 3 of them in size NB). Also, I’ve noticed this problem to get worse after wearing because the fabric stretches out. Totally not happy about this. I reached out to Burt’s bees about this and no solution was offered other than, “every baby comes in diff sizes“. FYI: we have a normal sized baby and other brands seem to fit just fine. I’m sad that no other remedy was offered with how expensive they can be. I don’t typically leave negative reviews but I wanted others to know before buying.

super soft and comfy
First time our babe wore this sleep and play she had an epic 1hr and 40 minute long nap in the daytime and a great stretch of sleep through the night!! I don't know if it has anything to do with this outfit, but it's definitely our lucky charm for a good nights sleep now!! Super comfy we often let her wear in the daytime too :)

Very long and doesn’t fit legs well
I have the 3-6 month size and it STILL does not even remotely fit my 4 month old. He is not a small guy and most 3-6 month fit him or are too small for him. I fee that, though I love the design, the sizing is a bit off. As he kicks, his feet constantly come out of the feet and into the leg. Also, the zipper seems like to really ride up on him as well. In all: cute design, poor fit.

I have no idea why you have decided to do away with the snug fit in smaller sizes this loose fit is terrible it doesn’t fit the body at all it looks baggy and not cute. by the time it did fit the body it was too short for my baby not a good design at all. I do however love the snug fit and bought them for my older child And buy them all the time. please make the snug fit in small sizes again!!

I am looking for loose fit pajamas for my 9month old. 6-9 month one is now getting snug. The snug fit is too tight. All the 12month old ones are snug fit which is not comfortable. Solutions?

Our sleepwear is 100% Organic Cotton and we don’t use harsh flame retardant chemicals so our pajamas keep your little bee snug as a bug to keep them safe as can bee. Unfortunately, since the Spring Chicks are part of our 'Celebrations' collection, we will not be restocking once sold out. For little bees through 9M, we have our loose-fit Sleep & Play styles so they can be extra comfy. For bigger bees who are on the move (12M-24M and 2T-7), we offer our snug-fit styles. Due to safety regulations, we keep these sizes and prints separate, so there are different prints available in 12M than 9M.
