Shipping policies

Orders with Priority or Express shipping that are placed on a weekday (excludes weekends and holidays)will be shipped within one (1) to two (2) business days.  Ground and Standard will be processed and shipped to be received using the grid below. Note, Standard shipments can take up to 10-12 business days and will ultimately be delivered by either FedEx or the USPS.

Please note we do not guarantee any delivery that has incorrect shipping address information or is not delivered on time due to severe weather or acts of nature that delay the carrier.  Shipping rates are based on method, total weight, and destination from our Denver, CO facility.

*Free standard shipping 4/6 - 4/12: Promotion ends at 11:59 PM EDT on April 12, 2020. During this time, we are offering free standard shipping. Standard shipping can vary from 7-12 business days for processing, shipment and arrival.

On orders totaling* $75+, we offer free standard (8-12 business days) shipping.  Need it sooner? We offer a variety of shipping options to meet your needs.

Processing time

Orders are processed Monday - Friday. Express, Priority and Ground shipping will process within one (1) to two (2) Business Days.  Business days exclude weekends and holidays.

All orders are subject to availability and credit authentication. During sale and holiday periods, additional processing time may be required.

Canada & International shipping

Burt’s Bees Baby products are intended for end use in the United States. Products sold for end use in the U.S. are not labeled for international distribution. Burt’s Bees Baby strictly prohibits the shipping of our product to any location outside the United States. Burt’s Bees Baby reserves the right to cancel or modify any order.

Multiple Addresses

You may only ship to one address per order.

If your order contains gifts or items that require shipping to multiple locations, you will need to place separate orders for each address.

Refused Shipments

Please note that if you refuse your order, or any part of it without authorization, you will be responsible for all shipping charges.

Redirecting an Order

Please make sure your shipping address is correct. Once in transit, we cannot redirect shipments to a new or different address. If you order is returned for an invalid or incorrect address your order will be returned to stock and the order refunded less any shipping charges. 


An email confirmation will be sent to you confirming your order once it has been received. The confirmation will be sent within 15 minutes of your order being placed.

You will also receive an email confirmation when your order ships with both the carrier and tracking number. If you have created a Burt’s Bees Baby shopping account, you can log in to your account to get an updated order status and shipping information at any time.


What items are eligible? Items need to be unwashed and with the original tags/packaging.  If you purchased a product as part of a gift set, the entire gift set must be returned. Specific promotional items marked Final Sale cannot be returned. All returns require a return merchandise authorization (RMA) and requests need to be within 30 days of when the original order was received. A prepaid return label can be provided for returns. Please note if you choose to use the provided label, $5 will be deducted from your credit. Original shipping costs will not be refunded. Please note Burt’s Bees Baby does not process exchanges. 

All family jammies returns must be post marked by December 1, 2019 or by within the 30-day of receipt to be eligible for return.

Burt's Bees Baby monitors Return Activity and reserves the right to limit returns.

We do not accept returns for items not purchased on If you purchased a Burt's Bees Baby product from anywhere other than, please reference the return policy of the company you purchased it from.

Requesting an RMA with an account: 

  • Log into your customer account
  • Go to "my orders" 
  • Click "view order" for the order you wish to request an RMA
  • Click "returns" 
  • Fill out the information for the RMA
  • Click "submit" 

Requesting an RMA with guest checkout: 

  • Go to Orders & Returns 
  • Enter order ID, billing last name and either the billing email or billing zip code
  • Click "continue" 
  • Click "returns" 
  • Fill out the information for the RMA
  • Click "submit"
